HR & Payroll Management System
An HR platform covering the employee lifecycle, attendance, leave, and statutory-compliant payroll.
This is a solution blueprint authored by our engineering team. It describes how we would approach this problem — it is not a record of a delivered client project, and the expected benefits below are design goals rather than measured results.
HR data commonly lives across spreadsheets, a biometric device export, and a payroll consultant's files. Payroll runs become a monthly reconciliation exercise, statutory filings are assembled by hand, and employees have no self-service access to their own records.
A single employee record spanning onboarding to exit, with attendance and leave feeding directly into a payroll engine that handles statutory components and generates filing-ready outputs.
An employee-record service holds the master data; attendance integrates with biometric and app-based sources. A rules-driven payroll engine computes earnings, deductions, PF, ESI, and TDS from configurable components, with every run stored as an immutable snapshot for audit. Self-service portals expose payslips, tax declarations, and leave balances to employees directly.

- Payroll computed from attendance without manual re-entry
- Statutory components calculated by configurable rules
- Filing-ready statutory outputs each cycle
- Employee self-service for payslips and declarations
- Complete, auditable history of every payroll run
Payroll runs execute as isolated batch jobs that scale with headcount, and multi-entity structures with distinct statutory rules are supported without separate deployments.
- Salary and PII data encrypted with restricted access roles
- Immutable payroll run snapshots for audit
- Approval workflow before any payroll is finalised
- Access logging on all compensation data views
- Retention policy aligned to statutory record-keeping periods
Estimated 14–18 weeks including one parallel payroll cycle
